Hello!! My name is Rumaisa.

I live in the beautiful city of Boston, Massachusetts with my husband. I love traveling, eating and cooking authentic Indian food. This blog is a documentation of my travels, food that I liked, my cooking experiments and slices of my life that I want to share.

I’ve lived in Bangalore, India for the greater part of my life and called it home. I moved to Boston, MA in 2019 to be with my husband and fell in love with the city and its people.

I am a software developer working at Google. Major chunk of my experience is in systems and infrastructure development. I started my career at IBM in 2012 where I developed performance tools for the unix based Operating System called AIX. IBM decided to stop development of AIX in 2014 which was when I decided to part ways. I joined SAP Labs in 2014 and got the opportunity to work with talented folks who are some of the best developers I have met and still remain my close friends. I worked on developing infrastructure for a product called Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). I resigned from SAP in 2019 as I wanted to move to Boston to be with my husband and unfortunately, SAP did not have an office in the city. I joined Google in 2020.
